About BrUMO
The Brown University Math Olympiad (BrUMO) is a mathematics competition that aims to create an inclusive environment for young students to learn and challenge themselves in math and critical thinking. Backed by the renowned Applied Mathematics department at Brown, our competition is designed to ignite passion for mathematical exploration while honing crucial analytical abilities, welcoming participants from all backgrounds to engage with advanced mathematical concepts in a supportive and engaging environment. After holding its inaugural competition in 2025, BrUMO is continuing to grow, aiming to bring a fresh perspective to the math tournament space and serve students worldwide.
